My career path has always predominantly been in financial services, where I’ve advised on Trusts, Inheritance Tax and even Will writing for my clients. Since then my forte has been in mortgages, where I initially started in residential, but since 2010 I’ve become a specialist later life lending adviser.

My north star

I deal with clients primarily over the phone, however that is not a hard and fast rule as my ethos is about dealing with clients how they would like to be dealt with. So, if a face-to-face appointment is more appropriate, I’m able to cover the whole of the UK.

Achievements

I am proud to witness the difference my advice makes to transform people’s lives for the better. I’ve witnessed how beneficial equity release has been after helping children on to the property ladder, even clients being able to avoid repossession and remaining in their homes for the rest of their lives.

Downtime

Being from Liverpool, I have an attraction with Everton FC that doesn’t seem to want to go away and I also dip into various other sports including boxing, having watched fights across the globe. I also enjoy/endure distance running, and live on the Merseyside coast in Formby with my family.
