The Capital Choice Plan provides a two-fold security measure for homeowners looking to protect an inheritance for their beneficiaries. This includes the Protected Equity Guarantee and the Voluntary Partial Payment facility as described later.

These equity release plans start at age 55 with a maximum upper age of 95. The property must be situated in England, Wales or mainland Scotland and come with a minimum property valuation of £70,000 and a high maximum property valuation of £5 million.

The More2Life Capital Choice Plan is essentially a roll-up equity release scheme. However, with the inclusion of the Voluntary Partial Payment Option, this lifetime mortgage can be turned into either an interest-only or capital & repayment scheme.

This is due to the fact that 10%pa can be repaid based on the original amount borrowed with NO penalty. Therefore, each homeowner can manage the future balance of their plan in accordance with their inheritance wishes by making monthly or ad-hoc capital repayments form day 1 of the commencement of the mortgage.

Another major attraction of this product is the ‘Protected Equity Guarantee’ option which allows a specific percentage of the value of the property to be safeguarded as an inheritance. This can be beneficial should you wish to guarantee an inheritance for your children.

More2Life also have a couple of features that offer a more fixed nature towards early repayment of this lifetime mortgage plan. The first, is by offering homeowners taking out this plan, fixed early repayment charges of 5% in year 1-5, 3% in year 6-10. There are NO early repayment penalties after 10 years.

Additionally, a Downsizing Protection feature is included, which allows homeowners the ability to repay the loan in full with NO penalty should the homeowner downsize property after 5 years.
